What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?

I inherited a passion for backcountry canoeing from my father. I have paddled extensively through Algonquin and various river systems

Favourite travel destination and why?

While completing my degree, I worked multiple jobs to self-fund independent travel to over 25 countries. The standout destination, however, is China. I met my wife, Elizabeth, during an academic exchange program there.
